Where do
we belong?
What does home mean when more than one place has shaped who you are?
In Between is a long-term photography and film project in development. It begins with my own experience of growing up between Italy and China, and building a life in Rotterdam.
Through portraits, conversations and everyday moments, I want to explore how people describe belonging in their own words.

More than
one place.
The project starts with one personal story. Future chapters will follow individual lives, with each person’s background and words giving context to their photographs.
Generation 1.5 is a starting question about growing up across cultures. Each story will describe its own history, rather than assume that one label fits everyone.
项目从一个人的故事开始，随后逐步展开。每一章都会以真实的经历和讲述为依据，让人物自己描述身份与归属。
